All About the Lighting

Lighting is a very important aspect of design as it not only serves practical purposes, it also has the power to completely elevate a space. You can purchase a beautiful dining room table and chairs, and yes they will look amazing, but your lighting will complete the space and add that extra pop that will make the space truly feel curated and special.

Bathrooms tend to be one of the areas where lighting falls to the wayside when updating and decorating. Yet it's one of our favorite places to have fun with lighting. We are really into strip lights and backlighting right now. It is a more modern trend, and is a great option when you don't have space for sconces.

Some of you may have recently become very aware of the lack of proper lighting in your home. While natural light is ideal, it’s not always an option. Let’s be real, we don’t want to be that person in the shadows on our Zoom calls (or do we?). Below are some functional yet stylistic options for your home office.

Lighting is generally thought of as functional, but we love using it as decor. Some fun ways to incorporate lighting in your decor are on gallery walls, a long hallway, in built-ins, or creating a cozy corner.
